We're going to grand Rapids tomorrow. No particular reason; just a weekend getaway to explore a part of Michigan we've never been to. I think it will be fun. We were going in endless Libra circles, debating Door County, Springfield, Il, and Dearborn, but I just popped up with Grand Rapids, and after we looked it up, we decided it sounded fun.
We went to the city today, to explore the Museum of Science and Industry (not as historical as it used to be, and kind of a letdown), and to go to Russell's for some barbeque. The we stopped in Gurnee on the way home, and went to Best Buy. Spouse bought a TV-DVD combo unit for the bedroom, and then we came home to do yardwork (Spouse), and laundry (me). Not a bad birthday.
