Well, as I have often said, it doesn�t pay me to be positive. No use lighting a candle against the darkness, when the Cosmos is right there waiting to piss all over it.

Right after I wrote that last entry, I found out my boss is retiring. And that she isn�t the only one in my division who is suddenly retiring.

I know my area is a dead man walking�the company is turning toward a different kind of business, after all. But all of a sudden it seems like things are speeding up.

Bottom line--If I make it past October, I will be one surprised business analyst.
